Florence Grant Wheeler, 88, died on
Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Northeastern Vermont Regional
Hospital in St. Johnsbury, Vt. She was born in Lyndon, Vt. on March 24, 1927
the daughter of Perley and Beatrice (Davis) Grant.
She was in the military for a time and then married Milton Wheeler. Florence
worked as a nurse at Mary Fletcher Hospital in Burlington, Vt. for many
years. In the past few years, she enjoyed the time she spent at the
Riverside Life Enrichment Center in Lyndonville and her cats.
Survivors include her only son, Roy Grant and daughter in law, Jennie
Somers of Lyndonville, Vt.; her six grandchildren; her 12 great
grandchildren; her four great great grandchildren and her sister-in-law, Harriet Grant.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Milton
Wheeler and her brother, Kermit Grant and his wife Ruth and Kenneth Grant.
A Graveside committal will take place at the Lyndon Center
Cemetery on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 10 a.m.
