Margaret L. (Cutting) Taylor formerly of Lyndonville, passed away on Oct. 4, 2012.
She was 89. She was born on July 1, 1923, in a family of seven children born to
Renwick and Orris (Humphrey) Cutting. She was raised in Lyndon
Center, attended Lyndon Institute and married Maxwell Taylor in 1940.
Margaret lived in Lyndonville all of her life. She was a member of the
Lyndonville knitting club and a home demonstration group. She enjoyed playing cribbage, reading
the newspaper and books about the history of towns in this
area and genealogy. She was a devoted wife and mother and
loved spending time with her family. "Peggy" will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her four children: Arthur Taylor and wife
Nina of Carpinteria, Calif., Philip Taylor of St. Johnsbury, Janet
Hebert of South Burlington and Lesley Mattei and her husband
Ken of St. Johnsbury; also 10 grandchildren, seven great-
grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was
predeceased by her husband Maxwell Taylor in 1999, and her
five brothers and her sister.
A graveside service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of
flowers memorial contributions may be made in Margaret's
