Eleanor V. Peck, 83, of Lyndon, passed away at the St.
Johnsbury Health and Rehab Center, Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006,
surrounded by her family. She was born Oct. 15, 1923, in
Walden, the daughter of David and Marjorie (Gray) Cassady.
She was a graduate of Lyndon Institute and a member of the
Lyndonville United Methodist Church. On Dec. 25, 1941, she
married Reginald Peck, who predeceased her on April 14, 1997.
She is survived by four daughters, Regina Lee of Chattanooga,
Tenn., Juanita Williamson of Lyndon, Wanda and her husband
Steve Wilkie of West Burke, and Ramona Humphrey of Havre
de Grace, Md.; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three
brothers; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews. She
was predeceased by two brothers. There will be a private
graveside service for the family at the Lyndon Center Cemetery.
There will be no visiting hours. Those who wish may send
