William L. "Bill" Allard , 27, of West Burke, passed away unexpectedly
Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital. The
son of Joseph P. Allard and Theresa L. Walker, he was born July 19, 1979,
in St. Johnsbury. Bill attended school at both St. Johnsbury Academy and
Lyndon Institute. He was a real outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting,
snowmobiling and four-wheeling. He is survived by his parents, Joe Allard
and his companion Sarah Sherratt of Lyndonville, and Theresa Walker of
Allentown, Pa.; his fiancee, Crystal Turgeon of West Burke; his
grandmother, Ruth Allard of East Haven; a brother, Tony of West Burke;
stepbrothers, Jeff Schools of Manchester, N.H., and Andy Schools of Newark;
uncles and aunts, Steve and Cheri Allard, Richard and Sue Benoit, Dan and
Marilyn Allard, Judith Bailey, Ellen and Raymond Chase, and Janet Powers;
and several cousins. He was predeceased by a grandfather, Kenneth
Allard. A memorial service will be held at Pearsons Funeral Home, 70
Church St., Lyndonville, on Friday, Dec. 29, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Sydney
Lambert, officiant. The family requests memorial contributions be made in
William's name to either Tri County Substance Abuse, 55 Seymour Lane,
Newport, VT 05855; or Vermont Fish and Wildlife (fish stocking
programs), 103 South Main 10 South, Waterbury, VT 05671.
