Florence M. "Flossie" Lynaugh , formerly of 1 High St., St. Johnsbury, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2006, at the age of 88. She had resided at The Pines Rehabilitation and Health Center in Lyndon just shy of nine years. She was born in St. Johnsbury on March 19, 1918, the daughter of James and Gladys Lynaugh. Flossie was head of the food service at St. Johnsbury Academy for over 30 years. She stopped working to care for her mother, Gladys Lynaugh Cummings. Gladys passed away in March 1981. She is survived by a first cousin, Beryl Houghton of Lyndon; and several other cousins, including Maurice Colby of East St. Johnsbury, who looked out for her affairs. Graveside services will be held this Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 2 p.m., at the Grove Cemetery in East St. Johnsbury. The Rev. Ann Hockridge will officiate.
