Graveside services will be held in St. Johnsbury this Monday, June 23, at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Father Patrick Forman will officiate. Anyone wishing to attend is welcome. Our beloved son, brother, friend... Of all the things we've never said, the time is now gone past. We thought we'd have all the time we'd need, but it went by much too fast. We loved you and it wasn't hard, because you were so wonderful. You were the light wherever you stood and the joy wherever you were. I'll miss you now and ever more, until I reach my end. But I know a day will come when we will meet again. My son, my brother, my friend. Born in Houston, Texas, Aug. 30, 1986, the son of Stephanie Davis of St. Johnsbury and Mario Sanchez of Houston, Texas, Ryan moved to St. Johnsbury in 1997 with his mother Stephanie and step father Richard Davis. Ryan was a proud graduate of the St. Johnsbury Academy, Class of 2006. While at the Academy, Ryan was a member of the FBLA and wrestling team. Ryan went to Houston to open "Gingers" Restaurant in San Leon, Texas, working as their head chef. Ryan was honored on the cover of the bay area's magazine "The Scene" as chef of the month. Unfortunately his life and career where cut short. Ryan leaves many loved ones in his wake: parents Stephanie Davis and Mario Sanchez; step-parent Richard Davis; fiancé Elizabeth Aguirre; brothers Michael, Mario, and Wilson; maternal grandparents Margie and Rex Simmons; paternal grandparents Mario and Isabel Sanchez; uncles Vincent Robinson, Mike Robinson, Seth Clark, Roland Sanchez and their wives; stepbrother and sisters; and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Mackenzie David Sanchez, maternal grandfather Russell Bruce Clark, great-grandparents Steve and Rose Ahern, Irene Clark; paternal great-grandparents Elvira M. Sanchez and Martin Ortega. Class of 2006 Ryan's year book Quote: "For every minute you are unhappy, you loose 60 seconds of happiness." It seems that time is a valuable thing. Spend your time wise. Be happy because if you're not then it's your own life you're wasting. I'm happy to say I haven't wasted my time.
