Scott Allen Wakeham, 55, of Greenville, N.C., passed away March 21, 2019 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice. He was born in Burlington, Vt. to Edward and Patricia Wakeham. Scott graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy. He was a high school athlete and participated in many sports. After high school he attended Lyndon State College, Lyndon, Vt. Scott then enlisted in the United States Air Force and served four years.
Scott enjoyed watching the New England Patriots, NASCAR, the Boston Red Sox, Bruins hockey, and the Celtics.
At the time of Scotts death he was survived by his father, Edward Wakeham, who passed away on March 29, 2019. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Nadine Jayne Wakeham; daughters, Brittany Leslie, Amanda Wakeham, Meghan Patel; son, Brian Watlington; sister, Deborah Crepault; and four grandchildren.
Per Scotts last wishes, he asked for his mother, Patricia, wife, Nadine, sister, Deb, and lifelong friends Jeff and Roy Morris to arrange a memorial service in his honor. This service will be held on Saturday, April 27 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Breslin Center in Lyndonville, Vt. Scott also requested that his ashes be scattered in the Atlantic Ocean, and a private service will be held by his wife, Nadine at that time.
