Laurel M. Wightman passed away on Nov. 20, 2015. Laurel was the wife, friend and loving companion of Eric Wightman of Smithfield, Maine. She was born in St. Johnsbury, Vt., on Oct. 15, 1969, the daughter of Wayne and Carol Majuri. She graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy with the class of 1987. She continued her education at Champlain College, graduating in 1989. Laurel worked in the mortgage industry in Pennsylvania and Maine. Laurel and Eric spent so much of their time together, skiing, snowmachining, and boating on the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Maine. She will be missed by her family and friends. Laurel is survived by her husband Eric, his mother, Karen Wightman of Danville, Vt., his sisters Heidi Barker and her husband Larry and nephews Jake and Nick of Lancaster, NH and Heather and her husband Donald Lebrecque of Mashpee, Mass. She will be missed by her family and friends. Laurel is also survived by her parents Wayne and Carol Majuri of West Danville, Vt., brother Wayne Majuri, Jr. and wife Kelly, niece Samantha and nephew Alex of Queensbury, N.Y.
