Eric Robillard of St. Johnsbury died suddenly Saturday evening May 11, 2013 in Barnet. He was 51.
He was born in St. Johnsbury on March 5, 1962, one of three sons born to Raymond and Maureen (Finn) Robillard. Eric graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy with the class of 1980.

Eric was a man who loved life, children and people. More than anything he loved his wife Tracie and their children Gabrielle and Lucas. He had a great smile, a wonderful sense of humor and was always ready to help anyone. He was everyone's big brother. In his free time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working on old trucks and traveling the back roads of Vermont.
Eric is survived by his wife: Tracie Robillard and their children, Gabrielle and Lucas of St. Johnsbury; his mother: Maureen Robillard of St. Johnsbury, two brothers: John Robillard and wife Cindy, and Chad Robillard and wife Veronica also of St. Johnsbury: his Godmother and Aunt, Mary Jane Hayes; many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins: and his nine nieces and nephews, Jacob, Julia, Zach, Alley, Jared, Aiden, Max, Chloe and Lilias.
Other survivors include special friends, Gloria Aldrich, who was like a sister to Eric, Chris and Erin Ummer and Mason, and Shane Lacroix: his father and mother in-law, Richard and Anita Bedor of St. Johnsbury: and his sister's and brother's in-law, Lisa and Brian Manter of Maine, Kelly and Rick Jesseman of Lisbon, NH and Jeff and Amy Bedor of New York.
He was predeceased by his father, Raymond Robillard in 2007.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Johnsbury on Friday, May 17, at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church with the Rev. Fr. Patrick Forman celebrant. There will be no visiting hours.
In lieu of flowers, Eric would want contributions made toward the continuing education of his children. Therefore, contributions payable to the "Robillard Education Fund" may be sent to the Union Bank, P. O. Box 219, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819.
