Diane McElroy Bradley , of St. Johnsbury and Peacham, passed away Thursday evening, June 12, 2008, surrounded by her family and loved ones. It was her and her twin sister's 44 birthday. She was the daughter of Bernard and Pauline (Messier) McElroy of St. Johnsbury. Diane loved working at Maple Grove where she was employed for the past 10 years. She was highly valued not only for her hard work but for the spirit, enthusiasm, and fun she shared with all. She enjoyed fishing, hunting (really road-riding with her sister!), bowling, and especially spending time with her children and grand-babies. She was always the life of the party and will never be forgotten for her open heart and love of life. Her life has touched many and she will be remembered by all who were blessed to have known her. She is survived by her three daughters: Miranda McElroy and Josh Robinson of West Barnet, Kendra McElroy of St. Johnsbury, Katie McElroy and Shawn Pelow of St. Johnsbury; five grandchildren: Jacob and Jordan Robinson, Tyrin Holloway, Davon McElroy and Alana Pelow; her husband David of Peacham; two sisters: her twin Donna Ward and husband Richard of Barnet, Rita Christie and husband Frank of St. Johnsbury; two brothers: Michael McElroy and Trella Legacy of Orleans, Christopher McElroy and wife Bonnie of Connecticut; aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins, and her really good friends Joe Stewart and Michelle Magoon; longtime friends Chrissy Noyes, Brenda Lane, and Kim Gaylore. She was predeceased by her brother Patrick and wife Cheryl. Visiting hours will be held at the Sayles Funeral Home Sunday, June 15, from 2 to 5 p.m., concluding with prayer led by Pastor Rick Menard. A gathering will follow the visiting hours at the New Beginnings Church on Route 2 across from Fairbanks.
