KITTREDGE: Ronald J. "Ronnie," 48, of 789 Railroad St., St. Johnsbury,
passed away suddenly early Saturday, May 31, 2003. He was born in
St. Johnsbury Sept. 13, 1954, the son of A. Ray and Margaret (Hayes)
Kittredge. He was a 1972 graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy. After
operating Ideal Upholstery and the Benjamin Moore Paint Store on
Eastern Avenue, Ronnie did business as R & L Enterprises, which
entailed his upholstery business, painting, snow removal, rental
properties, fire apparatus sales, and a pavement marking business
which he operated all over New Hampshire and Vermont, and
serviced several area towns' pavement marking needs. He is
survived by his mother, Margaret Kittredge; two daughters, Kelly and
Kari Kittredge of St. Johnsbury; his companion, Kathleen Renna of St.
Johnsbury; one brother, William Kittredge and wife Debbie of
Danville; two sisters, Barbara Russell and husband Mark of East
Concord, and Sandra Coons and husband Rick of Waterford; a
brother-in-law, David Russell of St. Johnsbury; his paternal aunt,
Eunice Barnett; maternal uncle, Harry Hayes; maternal aunt,
Margaret Hayes; two nieces and six nephews; and by his beloved
German shepherd, Max. He was predeceased by a maternal aunt,
Pauline Murphy Lacroix, just this past May 18; his father, A. Ray
Kittredge, in February 1993, and by an infant sister, Susan Rae.
Visiting hours will be held this evening, Monday, from 5 to 8 p.m. at
the Sayles Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held tomorrow,
Tuesday, June 3, at 11 a.m., at the Grace United Methodist Church on
Central Street in St. Johnsbury. Cremation will follow the service, and
committal with military honors will take place at the Danville Green
Cemetery, Wednesday, June 4, at 11 a.m. Ronnie served in the U.S.
Navy for four years and was proud to be an American. Please direct
