Keith Charles Ash, 52, passed on at Cape Cod
Hospital on July 10, 2012. Born May 3, 1960,
he attended St. Johnsbury schools and
graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy in
1
978. Keith went on to Bentley College to
receive a business BA in 1982. After
graduation he remained in the Boston area
and worked at Gaston Andrey Saab in
Brookline for several years. Keith's major life
work was in the movie industry as Director of
Operations for Entertainment Management, a
corporation he helped to grow from the start.
He lived in both Stoughton and Easton, Mass., before moving
year-round to the town of Brewster on Cape Cod.
He enjoyed time on the Cape, in Fort Lauderdale and more recently at
Key West, Fla., with his friends and family; especially his long-time
friend and business partner Bill Hanney and his good buddy Chris
Karis. He was especially proud of his home and loved spending time
there with his closest companion of all - his dog Ashley.
Keith was predeceased by his twin sister, Kathy Mel, and his
grandparents Philip and Hazel Crepeault and Albert (Bun) and Ruth
Ash. He leaves his mother and father, Bernice and Mel Ash, and his
sister, Lorrie "Lee" Ash. He is also survived by a large and loving
family that includes his aunts, Doris Stetson, Sandy Crepeault, and
Priscilla Ross; his uncles Bob Crepeault, Rod Ash, and Donnie Lewis;
and many cousins and extended family members.
The family wishes to announce memorial gatherings at a later date to
be held in both St. Johnsbury and Brewster. A book of condolences is
available at doanebealameshyannis.com. Donations may be made in
Keith's honor to either St. Johnsbury Academy Class of 1978 or the
Animal Rescue League of Boston's shelter in Brewster, Mass.
