Jonathan was born in 1960 to Howard Ralph Bovee, of St. Johnsbury, VT and Alice Sherman Bovee, of Orange, VA. Adorable from the first, he tormented and adored his sister, Anna Lura. Jonathan received his Bachelors degree in Communications in 1983 from Lyndon State College in Vermont and worked for 25 years at Masters Tuxedo and Bridal in Arlington, VA, in every job from shoe-cleaner (ew) to de facto second-in-command, before pursuing his greatest passion: buying and selling antiques. He could play guitar like a dream, lie for the sheer joy of it, and read sterling silver marks as easily as a novel. On March 29, 2017 Jonathan had a massive and surprising heart attack; he died on March 30, 2017 without ever regaining consciousness or experiencing any pain. His wife, Prudence Murray Bovee and their son, Russell Howard Bovee, both of Burke, VA, can't quite draw a full breath for the pain of his loss. Pru, Rusty, Alice and Lura are proud that Jonathan was an organ donor; we know he will live on by helping others. Services to be determined.
