after a lengthy illness, surrounded by members of his family.
Doug was born in St. Johnsbury on May 13, 1952, the son of
Daniel 'Buster' and Mary (Bedor) Jones. He attended St.
Johnsbury Trade School until the school's closing in 1970 and

build or fix anything. He loved hunting, fishing, camping,
motorcycle riding, kayaking and playing cards with friends.
Golfing with Ronald "Turk" Tallman, Lynda and Mike Morgan
and other good friends was another of his favorite pastimes.
With his wife Roxi, he traveled many miles of back roads and
byways on their "Sunday drives," looking for and taking
pictures of wild life, especially in the most northern parts of New Hampshire and Maine.
