Dennis H. "Woody" Wood , 55, St. Johnsbury Road, Littleton, N.H., died suddenly Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at the Littleton Regional Hospital. He was born in St. Johnsbury, Vt., the son of Gerald and Marie (Claire) Wood. He was a graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy, Class of 1970. He will be remembered as working at Nolins Shoe Store, St. Jay Fruit Store, Shop & Save where he had worked for 35 years, and most recently at Quality Motors. He loved fishing, gardening and keeping his car clean. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, John Paul and Gerry Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline (Pelletier) Wood of Littleton; a son, Barry Wood of Lowell, Vt.; two step-children, Amanda and her husband Chris Fetko and Andrew Ashton of Littleton; a grandson, Logan Ryan Fetko of Littleton; two brothers, Ray and wife Helen Wood and Michael Wood; eight sisters, Anita and husband Dick Bedor, Julieta Wood, Linda and husband Mitch Tenney, Susie and husband Shorty Lowrey, Maggie and husband Jay Austin, Kathy and husband Gordy Farnsworth, Sylvia and husband Rick Cote, Patty and husband Brian Wheeler; several nieces and nephews; his father in-law Jacque Pelletier of Littleton; brother in-law Rosaire Pelletier and wife Joy Hutchins and their children Christopher and Caitlin of Plainfield, N.H.; sister-in-law Denise and husband Michael Harrigan and their children Gabriel, Seth and Heather of Holton, Maine. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, 6-8 p.m., at Ross Funeral Home, Littleton Chapel. A celebration of life will take place Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, 11 a.m., at Twin Mountain Town Hall with Pastor Gault officiating. Burial will follow immediately at the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Littleton.
