Charles Francis "Chuck" Lacroix , 57, of Rutland, Vt., died Feb. 14, 2010,
while vacationing in Cancun, Mexico. Born in St. Johnsbury, Vt.,
June 14, 1952, the son of Lucien Francis Lacroix and Helen Patricia
Lacroix, he attended St. Johnsbury Academy and graduated in 1970.
Chuck worked for nearly 40 years in the plumbing and heating
wholesale business as both a salesman and branch manager for
companies including Colonial Plumbing and Heating, Blodgett Supply,
FW Webb and The Granite Group. He enjoyed many outdoor
activities including riding his motorcycle, baseball, hunting,
vacationing and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors
include: daughters Lisa Pearson of Rutland, Vermont and Michelle
Richling of Williston, Vermont; sisters Kimberly Gilding and Pamela
Passut both of St. Johnsbury; brother David Lacroix of Burlington,
Vermont; grandsons Jack Pearson and Luca Richling; and
granddaughters Emma and Ava Richling. He was predeceased by his
brother Paul Lacroix. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on
Thursday, Feb. 25, at the Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland, Vt. The
funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, at the
Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Rutland, Vt. In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer
Society, c/o the Clifford Funeral Home, Washington Street, Rutland, Vt.
