Chuck Guibord of Monroe passed away at home suddenly
Sunday morning, May 1, 2016 at the age of 61.
He was born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont on Feb. 12, 1955, the
son of Wayne and Janice (Barden) Guibord. He graduated
from St. Johnsbury Academy with the class of 1973 and the
Culinary Institute of America in 1975. He was predeceased by
his mother in 1998, his father in 2007, and by a sister Donna Bandy in 1976.
Chuck worked at EHV Weidmann for 26 years. He later started
his own business, Gold Star Garage Doors, in 2004.
Chuck coached soccer at the St. Johnsbury Rec Department
and started the soccer program at The Monroe School. He also
coached Little League Baseball and loved all sports Boston. He
was a proud member of the St. Johnsbury Elks Lodge for 41 years and enjoyed playing pool.
He is survived by his wife Cindy; son Justin W. Guibord and
Jennie Pollard, daughter Tori Morse and husband Eric;
grandchildren Mya Pushee, Lexi Guibord, Bella Morse, William
Guibord, Lyza Morse, and Ryker Guibord; sister Karleen Kelly
of St. Johnsbury, aunt and uncle Karl and Lucille Guibord of
Bayville N.Y., parents-in-law William and Ramona Bunnell of
Monroe; several nephews and a niece.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at The Monroe
Town Hall this Sunday, May 8 from 3-6 p.m. Anyone wishing to attend is welcome.
