Carol Ann Ziter of Summer Street in St. Johnsbury
passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011 unexpectedly
of a heart-related ailment. She was 56.
Carol Ann was born in St. Johnsbury on Dec. 28,
1954, the younger child born to Nash and Ella
(Joslin) Ziter. Take solace that she has gone home
and has been reunited with her mother and father.
Carol Ann made her home at 550 Summer St. with
her mother Ella. She and her mother were a team.
Summer Street was Carol's home; she could often
be seen walking her dear little dog Toby. Ella
passed away Dec. 10 of last year; Carol had
recently been living at The St. Johnsbury House.
Carol was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist
Church where she was an usher, sang in the choir,
and was part of the coffee hour team. She was a faithful crossing guard at the middle school.
She is survived by her brother Alan Michael Ziter and wife Winnie of
Germantown, Md.; her nephew The Rev. Jason Ziter and wife Michelle and
their two children Adam Michael and Nicolas James; uncle and aunt
Charles and Jean Joslin of Winchendon, Mass., aunt Janet Chin of
Burlington; aunt Esther Copp of New Smyrna Beach Fla.; uncle Paul
Johonnett of Bedford Center N.H.; of course her little Pekinese Toby Joe.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated this Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. John the
Evangelist Church. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visiting
hours will be held at the Sayles Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m.
