Bradley E. Dolgin, 63, of St. Petersburg, Fla., passed away on
Nov. 30, 2015. Born in St. Johnsbury, Vt., on March 11, 1952,
to Edna S. (Swartz) and the late David Dolgin, Brad was
beloved husband of Carmella (D'Amelio) Dolgin.
He is also survived by children: Saul Dolgin (Christine), of
Miami, Peter D. Johnson (Laura) of North Carolina, and
Christine Carter Schoonover (Colin) of St. Petersburg, and
seven grandchildren, nieces and nephews, brothers: Lawrence (Ceia) of Boston,
Charles H. (Nancy) of Massachusetts, Louis (Faith) of Chicago, lifelong buddy,
Reginald Craig of St. Petersburg, and his daily walking partner, Thor.
A proud graduate of the prestigious St. Johnsbury Academy,
Bradley went on to achieve a national reputation planning,
estimating and supervising large scale demolition projects; a
natural outlet for his destructive tendencies. He was well known
and respected for his adventurous spirit, and progressive
thinking in his life's journey. He was always ready to travel
anywhere at any time, and always made sure to touch base
with family when he did, making him the runaway winner of
Favorite Uncle recognition from every corner of the family. His
family was always his greatest source of joy, and his practice of
having huge cookies delivered to unsuspecting recipients
became legendary around the country.
