William Dale Terrill, age 65, of Sunset Drive, passed away peacefully at his
home Sunday, September 25, 2016, while taking a nap before heading out fishing.
Bill was born in Worcester, MA, on September 4, 1951, son to the late
Barbara Jane (Sleeper) Terrill. He was raised and educated in St.
Johnsbury graduating from St. Johnsbury Academy in the Class of 1969.
He began working as a bartender at Gold Crown Lanes at the age of 17
and worked as an inspector for VT Aerospace for 31 years. He loved to
bowl, golf and most especially loved to fish.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Beverly J. (Bean) Terrill of
St. Johnsbury, two daughters: Jennifer Thompson and husband, David, of
St. Johnsbury, Jessica Estabrooks and husband, Matthew, of Northfield,
VT, 5 grandchildren: Logan, Peyton & Emalyn Thompson, Ewan & Etta
Estabrooks, his mother-in-law: Emma Bean of Peacham, VT, a sister-in-
law: Mary Faris and husband, Tony, of Mosquitoville, VT, two brothers-in-
law: Richard and Stephen Bean of St. Johnsbury, two uncles: Norman
Sleeper of St. Johnsbury and Neal Sleeper of Massachusetts and several
cousins, niece and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother: David Terrill.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2PM on Friday, September 30, 2016, at
the Peacham Cemetery with John Sleeper officiating. There will be no Calling Hours.
Family and friends are also invited to a reception at 4PM Friday following
the committal to the American Legion on Maple Street in St. Johnsbury.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers are requested to one of the three
