Theresa (Quatrini) Buckbee , 64, died Sunday morning, Oct. 17, 2010, at
Fletcher Allen Medical Center after battling a prolonged illness. Theresa
was born on Nov. 1, 1945, in St. Johnsbury, Vt., the daughter of Francis
and Gloria Quatrini. On Nov. 17, 1962, she married Roger Buckbee, the
love of her life, in St. Johnsbury. She enjoyed times spent with family,
especially her two grandsons. She spent countless hours at her grandson's
hockey practices and games, and enjoyed traveling with their teams, in
many ways becoming "Nan" to most everyone. Theresa was a volunteer
driver for the North Western Transportation Co., transporting seniors to
Richford, Enosburg, St. Albans and the Islands. She is survived by her
parents, Francis and Gloria Quatrini of St. Johnsbury; her children Brent
Buckbee and wife Brenda of St. Albans, Laurie Buckbee of Fairfax, and
Brian Buckbee and wife Lori of Colchester; grandsons Ryan and Matthew
Buckbee; brothers Steve and wife Susan Quatrini of St. Johnsbury, and
Bryon and wife Janet Quatrini of St. Johnsbury; sisters-in-law June
Buckbee of Ohio and Vicki Quatrini of St. Johnsbury; her aunt Anna Hawks
of Connecticut; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased
by her husband of 45 years, Roger Buckbee, who passed away in 2007,
and her brother Gary Quatrini, who passed away in 2001. Funeral services
will be held Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, at 11 a.m. in St. Ann's Catholic
