Rebecca Ann Bjornstad , age 67, of Cedarville, passed away Tuesday,
Jan. 12 ,2010. Rebecca was born Nov. 2, 1942, in Barton, Vt., the daughter
of the late Francis and Lavinia (LaFoe) Leonard. She was a teacher for 37
years, retiring in 2008 from the East Dayton Christian School. Rebecca was
a member of the Grace Baptist Church, Cedarville, and was the author of
the soon-to-be-published book, "Thomas Jefferson: The Freedom of A
Nation." Survivors include her husband of 43 years, James; daughters
Christine Lynn (Dr. Charles) Henderson, York, Pa., and Karen Ann (Mark)
Peterson, Gainesville, Va.; grandchildren Anna Rose Henderson, Benjamin
Franklin Henderson, Charlotte Marie Henderson, William James
Henderson and Ryan Thomas Peterson. A gathering of family and friends
will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday Jan. 15, 2010, in Grace Baptist Church
(Moffat Hall), 109 North Main St., Cedarville, where services will be
conducted at 8 p.m. with Pastor Craig Miller officiating. Private burial will be
held at the convenience of the family in North Cemetery.
