Raymond A. Pineo, 59, of Dickinson Street, Lisbon, N.H., died peacefully, June 9, 2007, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born in Whitefield, N.H., the son of Avert and Hildred (Bradley) Pineo. He attended Bethlehem High School and graduated from the St. Johnsbury Trade School in 1968. He was drafted into the U.S. Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War as a lance corporal, E-3. He was a graduate of Berlin Technical School. He and his wife, Bonnie, lived in Burlington prior to moving to Lisbon in 1974. They made their permanent home on Dickinson Street in 1977. Raymond worked at McLure's Honey & Maple Products, Montgomery Wire Company, and most recently, at New England Wire Mill, Lisbon, where he was an electrician. He served as water commissioner for the town of Lisbon. He was a member of the Lisbon Fire Department for 25 years. He refurbished and detailed the Lisbon Fire Forestry Truck as well as the Lisbon Life Squad Van. He was very instrumental in getting the ladder truck for the town of Lisbon. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and he and his wife, as well as close friends, formed their own riding club, "The Dicky-Doo Riding Club." They enjoyed traveling throughout the summer months. Raymond's greatest passion was his family and friends and was very proud of all their accomplishments throughout their lives. He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Ralph; and his best friend, Max. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie (Crapo) Pineo, Lisbon; a son, James Pineo, Littleton, N.H.; a daughter, Susan Wall, Parker, Colo.; three grandchildren, Jared, Brendan and Amy, all of Parker, Colo.; a brother, Kirman Pineo, Franconia, N.H.; four sisters, Lois Champagne, Littleton, N.H., June Paige, Lisbon, N.H., Joan Towle, Hudson, N.H., and Gail Rogers, Concho, Ariz.; nieces and nephews; and his companion, Jazzie. There will be a friends and family gathering on Thursday, June 14, 2007, 6 to 8 p.m., at the Ross Funeral Home, Lisbon Chapel. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 15, 2007, at 11 a.m., at his home, 77 Dickinson Street, Lisbon, N.H., with the Rev. Lyn Winter officiating.
