LAMOTHE: Paul J. , 55, of St. Johnsbury, died suddenly, Wednesday,
March 20, 2002. He was born in St. Johnsbury May 31, 1946, the son
of Camille and Jeanne (Descoteaux) Lamothe. Paul was a 1966
graduate of St. Johnsbury Trade School. A Vietnam War veteran, Paul
served two tours of duty while enlisted in the United States Army. He
later received an associate\'s degree in computer technology from
Indiana Technical Institute. He was a member of the American
Legion. Paul worked for various employers in the St. Johnsbury area,
the last five years at D.G. Roofing. He greatly enjoyed outdoor
activities including hunting, fishing, boating, skiing and
snowmobiling. He also worked on Car 71 at the area race car circuit.
He was always willing to lend a helping hand to all of his numerous
friends and family. He is survived by two daughters, April Lamothe of
Sheffield and Shellie Lamothe of St. Johnsbury; one grandson,
William Tanner Jr.; his mother, Jeanne Lamothe of St. Johnsbury; two
sisters, Elaine Evans and husband William of St. Johnsbury, and
Karen Hollerby of St. Johnsbury; three brothers, Richard Lamothe
and wife Anita of Live Oak, Texas, Dennis Lamothe and wife Diane of
St. Johnsbury, and David Lamothe and wife Renee of Daytona Beach,
Fla.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Public graveside
services will be held in August at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in St.
Johnsbury, the time and date to be announced. There will be no
visiting hours. Paul spent many happy hours in his youth swimming
at the Kiwanis Pool. His family suggests friends and family wishing to
