DAVENPORT: Mary A. , 58, a longtime resident of St. Johnsbury, died
Wednesday, July 10, 2002, following a lengthy illness. Mary was born Aug.
20, 1943 in Barre, the daughter of the late George A. and Mary A. (Grenier)
Colbeth. She worked for 23 years at Lyndon State College as a receptionist
and switchboard operator. She enjoyed her family, bingo, antiques,
animals, fishing and hunting. She will be greatly missed by her family and
friends. Mary is survived by three daughters, Wendy Davenport of Burke
Hollow, Lana Davenport of Danville and Laurie Davenport of St. Johnsbury;
three brothers, George Colbeth and wife Patty of St. Johnsbury, David
Colbeth of Albany, N.Y., and Donald Colbeth; four grandchildren, Daniel
and Rachel Corrow of Burke Hollow, and Katie and Jill Hale of Danville;
and a special nephew, Todd Colbeth of Lyndonville. A committal service
will be held Saturday, July 13, at 11 a.m., at the Passumpsic Cemetery,
with the Rev. John Marshall officiating. The family requests that memorial
contributions be made to SAD/SAC, in care of The Caledonian-Record,

Hospice, P.O. Box 383, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819.
