Jacquelyn R. Frey, 68, of Littleton, N.H., died peacefully on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 at
Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 1, 1944 in St. Johnsbury, Vt. the daughter Robert and
Winifred Rose (Montgomery) Rodger. She attended schools in St. Johnsbury, Vt. and
was a graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy class of 1962, they celebrated their 50th
class reunion this year and her classmates were all very special to her.
She had been employed for Seminole Point Hospital in Sunapee, N.H.
as Director of Admissions for many years.
Jacquelyn enjoyed spending time with her special friends, she loved
holidays with family, music, she was very strong willed and always
positive never once complaining about her illness. She also
volunteered at the Visiting Center in Littleton, N.H. she just enjoyed visiting with people.
She is survived by one daughter, Heather Smith of Sausalito, Calif.;
one son, Jason Smith and his wife Kelly of Wheelock, Vt. and one
step-son Charles Frey III of Harrisburg, Pa.; one sister, Gail Roberts
and her husband Sam of Passumpsic, Vt. She was predeceased by one brothers, Dana Rodger.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 at 1 p.m.
in the St. Johnsbury Center Congregational Church in St. Johnsbury,
Vt. with the Rev. Glenn Hatch officiating. Interment will follow the
service in the family lot in the St. Johnsbury Center Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at
Pearson's Funeral Home, 70 Church St., Lyndonville, Vt.
Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
