Hollis D. Emmons , 59, of Littleton, N.H., died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006, at
St. Mary's Hospital in Racine, Wis. Mr. Emmons was born in Littleton,
the son of Robert and Katherine (Mooney) Emmons. He attended
local schools and graduated from St. Johnsbury Trade School. He then
went on to work with his father in running RD Emmons Plumbing
and Heating. After his father's retirement, he went back to school to
learn to drive tractor-trailers. He had worked for Wausau Carriers
and most recently Roehl Transportation of Groveton. In his free time,
Mr. Emmons enjoyed model trains. He was a member of the Trico
Model Railroad Society of St. Johnsbury, and a founding member of
the Ammonoosuc Valley Railroad Association. He is survived by his
mother, Katherine (Mooney) Emmons of Littleton; and aunts, uncles
and cousins. There are no calling hours.
