NEIL: Emilie J., 59, of Parker Hill Road, Rockingham, Vt., died suddenly,
Thursday, May 2, 2002 at the Springfield Hospital, Springfield, Vt. She was
born June 21, 1942, in Barre, the daughter of Francis and Madeline
(Lumbra) Brosseau. She was a 1961 graduate of Mt. Saint Joseph High
School, St. Johnsbury. Emilie was a member of the Polish American Club
of Bellows Falls and the Eagles Club in Brattleboro. She founded the
PeeWee Football Cheerleaders. Her greatest pleasure was to be with her
family, especially her grandchildren. On Jan. 21, 1994, she married
Bernard Neil of Rockingham, Vt., who survives her. Also surviving her are
one son, Rocky LaCroix of St. Johnsbury; three daughters, Mary LaCroix
Moore of Bellows Falls, Dee Dee LaCroix Milliken of Charlestown, N.H.,
and Gloria Neil Vancor of Bellows Falls; one brother, Wayne Brosseau of
North Carolina; three sisters, Carol Goodrich of Massachusetts, Theresa
Reed of Lyndonville, and Yvonne Mathews of St. Johnsbury; her
mother-in-law, Florence Fleming of St. Johnsbury; and also her eight
grandchildren, Ashley and Michael Gideos, Shane LaCroix, Fallon and
McGregor Vancor, Justin Milliken and Suzanne and Bradley Moore. Emilie
was predeceased by one brother, Charles Brosseau. There will be a
memorial funeral service, Tuesday, May 7, at 2 p.m. at the Fenton &
Hennessey Funeral Home, Bellows Falls. There will be no calling hours.
