Anne L. Evans, 73, of St. Johnsbury, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, in the comfort
of her home. She was born in Lancaster, Pa., on Feb. 18, 1941, to Ernest and Blanche (Horn)
Evans. Anne worked for various Day Care centers in Washington State and locally for Emerson Falls
Day Care. She enjoyed knitting and flower gardening. Anne loved and cared for her many
cats. She was a very giving person. She was pre-deceased by her parents and a
brother Roger Evans. She is survived by her two daughters: Bonnie Smith, and Regina Mumford her husband
Timothy and their sons Adam and William; one brother, William Evans and his wife Elaine; three
nieces: Tina Evans-Smith her daughter Brianna and fiancé Kevin Grondin,
Elizabeth Evans, Janet Surrencey and her husband Marc; three special friends
whom were like family: Roberta Wilcox and her daughter Megan, Shari Allen and Laurie Marcy.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
