JOYCE: Priscilla F. "Kate," 71, of McIndoe Falls, died peacefully Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003, with family by her side, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. She was the wife of CMSgt. Charles A. Joyce III, USAF Retired. Born Feb. 10, 1932, in St. Johnsbury, she was the daughter of the late T.A. and Alice Cormier. Kate was an avid bingo player and leaves many friends in the St. Johnsbury area. She touched many different lives in different ways. We know it's not how long you live in this life, it's what you do with the time you are given. Kate gave of herself to everyone she met and had a wonderful soul for all to see. She will be greatly missed, but fondly remembered, by her many friends and family. Besides her husband of 50 years, she is survived by five children; Leah M. Parish and her husband Roger of Bossier City, LA, Gregory A. and his wife Frieda Joyce of The Woodlands, TX, Patrick C. and his wife Giseli Joyce of St. Louis, MO, Nancy A. and her husband Denis Noel of North Bennington, and Joanne M. and her husband David Lepine of Fonda, NY. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 31 at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church. Burial will be in the springtime at the McIndoe Falls Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the Sayles Funeral Home Tuesday, Dec. 30, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
