Lancendorfer, Norma Louise passed away peacefully at the age of 75 on Saturday, May 28, 2011. Norma was a long time resident of Phoenix, Arizona, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont on April 15, 1936 to Arthur and Alice Marshall. She was a graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy in Vermont. Norma is survived by her husband Robert Andrew Lancendorfer, her children Cathy Farley and son-in-law Kevin of Washington State; Robert Paul Lancendorfer and daughter-in-law Nerissa of Washington State; Donald Lancendorfer of Phoenix; and Mary Collier and son-in-law Clint of Phoenix. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Lancendorfer. She is also survived by her grandchildren Theresa Pittman and husband Lonnie, Jonathan Farley and wife Kathy, Hunter Collier, and Chloe Collier; great-grandchildren Aerithmay Pittman and Alex Farley; her sister Mary Marshall-King and husband Vincent; and various cousins, nieces, and nephews. Norma enjoyed traveling with her family, camping, had a deep love of nature, and was very active in her church, community, and in school activities where her children attended. Norma will be remembered as a simple, loving, generous person who made everyone happy and made long-standing friendships throughout her beautiful life. Rosary and visitation is on Thursday, June 2 at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 West Bethany Home Road, Phoenix AZ 85013, 602-249-2111. Rosary is at 7:00pm and visitation is from 6.00 to 8.00pm. Funeral service will be held at SS. Simon and Jude Cathedral, 6351 North 27th Ave, Phx, AZ. 85017 on Friday, June 3 at 10 am followed by the interment service at Holy Cross Cemetery, 10045 W. Thomas Road Avondale, AZ 85323, 623-936-1710. Reception will follow at SS. Simon and Jude Cathedral after interment.
