George E. Bouffard Jr. 73, of Hudson, N.H., died Wednesday, Nov.. 14, 2007,
at St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua, N.H. Born April 11, l934, in St.
Johnsbury, Vt., he was the son of the late George E. and Dulcina (Daniel)
Bouffard Sr. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was stationed in Germany.
George was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church where he
was active with the St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Knights of
Columbus. He enjoyed gardening and loved working on home improvement
projects. He also enjoyed watching the Red Sox. His greatest enjoyment
came from his granddaughters who were his pride and joy. He was
predeceased by two sisters and a brother. Survivors include his wife of 45
years, Gloria (LaChance) Bouffard of Hudson; three daughters and two
sons-in-law, Jackie Bouffard, Monique and Louis Dion all of Hudson, and
Marie and Scott Soucy of Nashua; a brother and a sister-in-law, Arthur and
Claudette Bouffard of Florida; four granddaughters, Nicole Dion and
Jessica Dion both of Hudson, Lauren Soucy and Kylie Soucy both of
Nashua; also several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be held
Mon., Nov. 19 at 9:30 a.m. in Blessed John XXIII Parish at St. John the
Evangelist Church, 27 Library St., Hudson. All are to meet at Church.
Visiting Hours will be Sunday, Nov. 18, from 2 to 5 p.m., in the
Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St., Hudson. Burial will be in St.
Louis Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
St. Vincent de Paul Society, 27 Library St., Hudson, NH 03051.
