ORANGEBURG SC -- Everdene W. Hoffman, 82, of Orangeburg, passed away Thursday. Aug. 23, 2018, at the Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with Dr. Karl Coke officiating. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following service. Dukes-Harley Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Everdene was born in Bradford, Connecticut, to the late Elroy Walter Harriman and Marion Lavina Brown Thorley. She was a retired Office Manager for Musbach Roofing Inc. in Middletown, New York. Everdene was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, American Legion, and Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a loving and caring individual to all who knew her and will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by a daughter, Leslie LeDuc and a sister Elaine Brock.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Lynn Mead of Florida and Robin Ellen Draper of Marion, North Carolina; three sons, Mark Walter Hoffman, (Sandy), of England, Todd Arthur Hoffman, (Celeste), of Greenwood,and Robert Hayes Hoffman, (Rhonda) of Louisville, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Thomas and Roxanne Haselden.
