Daniel E. Gilchrist, 70, of Mystic, husband of Constance (Brucker) Gilchrist passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Born in Barnet, VT he attended local schools in VT and was a graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy. He resided in Mystic for over thirty years. Dan was a bookkeeper and accountant for several local Hotels in the area for many years. He was recently forced to stop working due to his declining health. He was an avid classic car enthusiast. A service will be held Monday, January 16th at 1:00 pm at the Mystic Funeral Home Route 1 Mystic (51 Williams Ave.) with funeral celebrant Patricia A. Moody officiating. Burial will be private.
