MARCEAU: Barbara Jean (Sanville) , 66, of St. Johnsbury, passed away
Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at Fletcher Allen Hospital in Burlington. Barbara
resided in St. Johnsbury, but spent the last few months living with her
daughter, Lori (Marceau) Gilding and family while undergoing radiation
treatment for breast cancer. Barbara was born June 25, 1938, in
Burlington, the daughter of Harold and Helen Sanville of St. Johnsbury.
Barbara is survived by her five children and their spouses or significant
others, Mike and Terri Cheatham, of Groton, N.Y., Gary and Brenda (Faul)
Marceau, of Thornton, Colo., Robert and Lori Gilding, of South Burlington,
Vt., Todd and Mary Marceau, of Lyndonville, Vt., and Scott and Tina
(Duenas) Nelson, of Montevideo, Minn.; nine grandchildren, Daniel, Kelly
and Sean Cheatham, of Groton, N.H., Holly Davis, of Newark, Vt., Pete and
Tennyson Marceau, of Lyndonville, Vt., Angela Gilding, of Colchester, Vt.,
and Christopher and Kayla Gilding, of South Burlington, Vt.; one
great-grandchild, Lauren Shelly, of Colchester, Vt.; brother and
sister-in-law, Francis and Joan Turner, of Hartford, Vt.; and niece,
Katherine Saturley, of White River Jct., Vt. Barbara was predeceased by
her husband of 36 years, Roger O. Marceau, on Oct. 14, 1994; her parents,
Harold and Helen Sanville; and her brother, Kenneth Sanville in October
2004. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and
great-grandchild. She loved to travel, and frequently went on trips visiting
her children in various parts of the country. She loved to play bingo, and
loved taking day trips to Canada with her friends. Per Barbara's request,
there will be no service or visiting hours. Her family asks that any donations
