Arthur A. Bouffard , 70, of North Port, Fla., died unexpectedly April 14, 2008,
at his residence. Born in St. Johnsbury, on Oct. 29, 1937, he was the
son of George and Dulcina (Daniels) Bouffard. He grew up in St. Johnsbury
and later lived in New Hampshire at Nashua, Manchester and Bedford
before moving to Florida. He worked at Consolidated Foods, Improve
Machinery and Lowell Shoe Company for many years. Bouffard was a
member of the Knights of Columbus in St. Johnsbury, and the Elks Club
and League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood in Manchester, N.H. The
family includes his wife of 39 years, Claudette (Thibault) Bouffard of North
Port; a daughter, Michelle McKenna and her husband, Joseph, of North
Port; one uncle and cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by
his siblings, Anita Bouffard, George Bouffard Jr., Louis Bouffard and
Jeannette Young. Bouffard will be remembered for his great love of family,
his quick wit, the love for his pet cat Noonie, his pride of his French
heritage and the love of his country. Calling hours are Sunday from 2 to 6
pm. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North
Street, Manchester, N.H. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
Monday at 10 am. at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Road,
Bedford, N.H. Graveside committal prayers will follow at Last Rest
Cemetery, Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack, N.H.
