Anne Mayo Warren Brill passed away peacefully midday Monday, Feb. 19, 2007,
at the Country Village Nursing Home in Lancaster, N.H.,
with her family by her bedside. She was born in St. Johnsbury on Oct. 19, 1932,
one of seven children born to Francis and Dometille
(Bernier) Mayo. Anne graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy in 1950
and had been receptionist at Fairbanks and later at St.
Johnsbury Academy. First and foremost, she was a stay-at-home
mom, and lovingly so. She will be dearly missed by all. She is survived
by her husband, Wesley Brill of St. Johnsbury (187 Church St., 05819);
three children, Lizabeth Warren and Earle Lakin of Littleton,
N.H., (703 Slate Ledge Road, 03561), James Warren and his wife Lisa
of Waterford (511 Hudson Road, 05819), Cathy Hardman and her
husband Christopher of St. Johnsbury (174 Cliff St., 05819); Wesley's
daughter Melanie 'Tori' Robinson, husband Tom and their two
children, Kasey and Joel of Colchester; four grandchildren, Jamie
Palmer, Katelyn and Lindsay Warren and Anne Hardman; one sister,
Marceline Nadeau and her husband John of Lancaster, N.H.; four
brothers, Fred Mayo of St. Johnsbury, John Mayo of St. Johnsbury,
Bernier Mayo and his wife Jeanette of St. Johnsbury, Michael Mayo
and his wife Priscilla of Waterford; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Elaine Driscoll, in 1999. A funeral
Mass will be celebrated Friday, Feb. 23 at 11 a.m. at St. John the
Evangelist Church. The Rev. Richard O'Donnell will be the celebrant,
and her brother The Rev. Mr. Bernier Mayo, the homilist. Burial will
be at a later date at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours will be
held at the funeral home, Thursday from 6-8 p.m., and will conclude
with an evening prayer service. Memorial contributions could be
