Angelina E. (Desilets) Bean , 72 of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of St.
Johnsbury, died peacefully in her sleep after a long illness on March 28.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Lloyd (Bob) Bean of Sun City,
Ariz.; her two daughters, Sharon and husband Jerry Cote of St. Johnsbury,
and Patricia and husband Glenn Forest also of St. Johnsbury; and son
Robert and wife Lorrie Bean of Glendale, Ariz. Surviving siblings include
her brother, Robert Desilets of East Hartford, Conn., and sister, Priscilla
Trow of Milford, N.H. Angie's grandchildren include, Pam Fletcher, Jason
Beattie, Michelle Graves, Jamie Graves, Mathew Forest, Kathryn Ranney,
Amie Canfield, James Burton ,Michael Bean, Brett Bean, and Sarah Bean.
Her great-grandchildren are Margaret and Hannah Fletcher, Aliyah and
Chaise Beattie, Hudson Ranney and Morgan Forest. She was predeceased
by a daughter, Carol Lee; parents, Joseph and Verlie Desilets; a brother,
Edmond Desilets; and sister, Madeline Davies. Bob and Angie Bean were
married in August of 1955 and made their home in St. Johnsbury. She
retired from St. Johnsbury Convalescent Center and then worked at Maple
Grove as a tour guide prior to their move to Sun City, Ariz., returning to
Vermont during the summer months. Angie enjoyed traveling with her
husband by car, sea and air to their many destinations. She loved the
projects that she and Bob undertook, from remodeling their many homes to
helping their children with their projects. Angie loved music and her children
have many fond memories, one of which was her morning wake up song.
She was an ardent supporter of her children and a loving mother. Angie
found solace in both her belief in God and her husband Bob through his
attentive care and love. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in
Angie's memory, to a charity of one's choice.
