Richard "Dick" Peterson , 68, of Piermont, N.H., passed away an June 5,
2010. He was born in Portland, Maine, in 1942. He was a long time
resident of Bradford, Vt., and has been living in Piermont, N.H., for the
last 10 years. In his earlier years Dick enjoyed racing at Bear Ridge
Speedway, being outdoors hunting and 4-wheeling. He loved playing
cards at camp with friends and most of all watching his daughters play
sports, he continued watching his grandchildren's sporting events. He
was a very proud father and grandfather. For many years Dick owned
and operated Peterson's Sheet Metal before becoming a project
manager for ARC Mechanical until he retired. He is preceded in death
by his parents a sister and a brother. He is survived by his wife, Julia, of 46 years,
of 64 Aaron Road Piermont, N.H.; his beloved chocolate Lab,
Babe; his brother Norman of Waterford, Vt.; a sister Mary Peterson of
Portland, Maine; three daughters, Kathy Fenoff and husband Bob their
children Ashley and Kristen of Waterford, Vt., Brenda Lane and husband
Danny their children Matthew and Britney of Waterford, Vt., and
Deborah Gregory and her children Hunter and Jenna Bingham of
Piermont, N.H. At Dick's request there will be no calling hours. There
will be a graveside service at Sawyer Cemetery Upper Plain Bradford,
Vt., Saturday, June 19, 2010, at 11 a.m. Following will be a gathering of
remembrance at 64 Aaron Road, Piermont, N.H. In lieu of flowers
