Ramona Florence (Letourneau) Noyes died at the age of 90, on May 19, 2019 in the loving care of The Arbors, in Shelburne, Vermont, with family at her side. Ramona was born January 6, 1929 in St. Johnsbury, the daughter of Alfred and Florida (Boutette) Letourneau. She was a graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy. Ramona worked for many years at Hovey Shop on Railroad Street. On August 8, 1948, Ramona married the love of her life, Edwin C. Noyes. He predeceased her on August 19, 2002. Ramona is survived by their two sons: Jeffrey E. Noyes and his wife Barbara of Shelburne, VT, and their sons, Lawson, Connor, and Chandler; and Jay C. Noyes and his wife Brenda of Swanton, VT and Jays children, Beth and Aaron. Ramona is also survived by her beloved sister, Lorraine Marcotte of St. Johnsbury, and her brothers Thomas Letourneau of Lyndonville, VT and Andrew Letourneau of Hooksett, NH. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and grand nieces/nephews. Ramona was predeceased by her sister, Stella Allen, and by an infant sister, Lucille. She was also predeceased by her sisters-in-law, Gracia Letourneau and Lorraine Letourneau, and her brothers-in-law, Frank Marcotte and Elton Allen. The family wishes to thank the care providers at The Residence at Shelburne Bay for her care during her stay there and Bayada Hospice. And we are eternally grateful to all of the wonderful people at The Arbors in Shelburne, VT who provided such love and care for Ramona and support for her family. No services are planned. Private burial of her ashes will be at the North Kirby Town Cemetery (also known as North Kirby-Brookside Cemetery).
