Paul S. Cutting, 81, of Treasure Island, Fla., Stafford Springs,
Conn. and Miles Pond, Vt., died peacefully in his sleep on Jan. 11, 2011.
Paul was born in St. Johnsbury, Vt., on April 11, 1929 to Clifford
and Helen Cutting. He graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy in
1947. He was active in the Chamber of Commerce, Boy Scouts,
and Little League. He was married to Frances Morrison for 53
years until her death in 2002. Paul worked for Sears Roebuck for
40 years. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing. He
particularly liked spending time at his camps on Miles Pond with
his four children and 10 grandchildren. He is survived by his dear
companion, Helen Johnston of Newton, Mass.; daughter Leah of
St. Petersburg, Fla., son Jeffrey and wife, Karen, of
Thonotosassa, Fla., son Clifford and wife, Betsy, of Stafford
Springs, and daughter Joyce and husband, Thomas O'Donnell, of
Westford, Mass.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, at
David Gross Funeral Home, 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, Fla.
A committal service will be held at Miles Pond, Vt., during the spring.
