WRIGHT: Mary E. (Weston) , 77, of 82 Weston Drive, St. Johnsbury
Center, passed away unexpectedly at home Thursday, Dec. 19, 2002. She
was born in St. Johnsbury, May 14, 1925, the daughter of Lyle and Esther
(Ball) Weston. She married Francis W. Wright Nov. 19, 1946. He preceded
her in death Jan. 2, 1990. She was a laundress at Palmer Brothers for 23
years. She had also worked in the kitchen at Darling Inn and previously at
Maple Grove and St. J. Glovers. She is survived by her son, Richard W.
Wright of Passumpsic (P.O. Box 83, Passumpsic, VT 05861); two
grandchildren, Allison Roberts of South Wheelock, and Karen Wright of
Manchester, N.H.; a 2-week-old great-granddaughter, Hannah Roberts;
four brothers, Norris Weston and wife Priscilla of St. Johnsbury, Fred
Weston of St. Johnsbury Center, Lyle Weston of St. Johnsbury, and Jack
Weston and wife Betty of North Danville; three sisters, Mabel Morin and
husband Norman of Brimfield, Mass., Lorna Minor and husband Welman of
Terriville, Conn., and Esther Morey and husband Robert of St. Johnsbury
Center; one step-daughter, Patricia Flannagan of Barton; and nieces and
nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Guibord Funeral Home in
Lyndonville, Saturday, Dec. 21, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held
Sunday, Dec. 22, at 2 p.m., at the First Congregational Church of St.
Johnsbury Center with Pastor Bill Cotte officiating. Burial will be in May at
Pleasant View Cemetery in Orleans. Memorial contributions could be
