Marilyn F. Morrison, 90, of Riverview, FL, peacefully passed away, Thursday May 10, 2018 in Riverview, FL at home with her youngest daughter Mary by her side. She was born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont to parents, Wilbur & "Edith" Fitch. She was preceded in death by her sister Pauline James and her husband of 66 years Robert Edgar Morrison. She is survived by her daughters, Jane (John) Dragoo and Patricia (Barry) Parkison; by son Robert (Kathy) Morrison, by daughter Mary (James) McCullagh: ten grandchildren, Brittany Klein, John (Stacey) Dragoo, Robert (Shannon) Dragoo, Benjamin (Marjorie) Parkison, Jennifer (Jason) Antin, Derek (Julie) Wolfe, Erika (Anthony) Fremanis, Hannah Morrison (Brian Grimmer), Shannon (David) Lennon, Sarah (Justin) Ball; Twenty-one great-grandchildren, Will, Sam & Molly Klein, Maggie, Josie & Ruthie Dragoo, Braydon Beai, Charlotte & Penelope Dragoo, Madeleine & Nathaniel Parkison, Ella & Isaac Wolfe, Ajia, Mila, & Nash Fremanis, Norah Grimmer, James & Jude Ball, Abby Lennon & Avery Antin. Marilyn F. Morrison was a strong unfailing woman that especially loved her grandkids and always made people feel special. She had a tremendous sense of humor and a smile that was so welcoming that you would never feel like a stranger around her. So much of her life was spent nurturing and giving to family. She was a dedicated wife to Robert and a diligent mother who raised one son Bob & three beautiful daughters, Jane, Patty & Mary, who also demonstrate the same family values she bestowed upon them. She launched & promoted Girls Scouts in the Cowan School district. She began with a single Troop (Troop 49) and built to a program from grades 1-10. She loved music and was an amazing choir director for the Oakville 1st Brethren Church, of which she was a member. She shared her love for the outdoors with her family, girl scouts and friends while visiting many state & national parks all throughout her life. Marilyn F. Morrison lived the life that God described in Proverbs 31:26-28. "She opens her mouth with wisdom and loving instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the activities of her household and is never idle. Her children rise up and call her blessed. Her husband also praises her."
