Marguerite Harris, age 88, of Littleton, N.H.,
passed away on Dec. 27, 2010, at the Lafayette Center in Franconia, N.H.
Marguerite was born April 4, 1922, a daughter to
Frank and Blanche Boutet, in St. Johnsbury, Vt.
She was a graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy
and attended beauty school in Boston.
Marguerite began her career as a beautician in
Nantucket, Mass., prior to moving back to
Littleton, N.H., where she continued as a
beautician and finally opened her own shop in
her home on School Street, which she ran until
she retired. She enjoyed going to Ogunquit, Maine, beaches.
Surviving family members include her husband,
Ralph Harris; her son Jason Taylor and Susan
Tann of Haverhill, N.H.; her stepchildren, Scott
and Deb Harris of Nashua, N.H., Tally and Bob
Parker of Raymond, Maine; grandchildren Kerri
and Joel Horne of Ellsworth, Maine, Katie and
Jason Leveille of Bridgton, Maine, Kristin Harris
and fiance Ryan Prokop of Londonderry, N.H.,
Shawn Harris of Nashville, Tenn.; and two
great-grandchildren, Sam and Luke Horne.
She was predeceased by her parents, brother
Francis Boutet and a nephew, Michael.
