BADGER: Harriett (Bonett) , 78, widow of Philip Badger Jr.,
passed away quietly Sept. 27, 2004, at Northeastern Vermont
Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury, Vt. She was born in St.
Johnsbury, Sept. 24, 1926, to Perley and Beatrice (Donaghy)
Bonett. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Philip
Badger Jr., Feb. 20, 1990. Harriett attended St. Johnsbury
Academy and worked at Fairbanks Morse. She later resided in
Windham Center, Conn., where she worked for Brand Rex. She
and her husband Philip retired to North Carolina, spending their
summers in Danville, Vt. She was an avid golfer and member of
St. Johnsbury Country Club. She is survived by a brother, Earl
Bonett and his wife Ruth of St. Johnsbury; sister, Marion Streeter
of Albany, N.Y.; sister, Marjorie Smith and her husband Russell of
Inverness, Fla., and Danville; and sister, Gertrude Daire of
Whiting, N.Y.; and nieces and nephews, great-nieces and
great-nephews. She was also predeceased by a brother, Edward
Bonett and his wife Mary of St. Johnsbury; and a sister, Arlene
May and her husband Royce of Wolcott. Funeral services will be
held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Danville Congregational Church with
Pastor Jim Llewellyn officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Green
Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at Sayles Funeral Home,
Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to
