HUTCHINSON: Eva Rose , 82, of Fort Worth, Texas, a homemaker, went
home to the Lord on angels' wings Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004, with her family
by her side after a courageous nine-year battle with renal failure. Eva and
her twin sister, Effie, were born on Sept. 14, 1922, in St. Johnsbury, Vt., to
the late Nicholas E. and Jennie Alger Gentile. In 1946, Eva married Leon
Somers and had Michael, after they were divorced she met and married
Ernest A. Hutchinson on Nov. 22, 1951. They lived in Goss Hollow, Vt.
Ernest adopted Michael and in 1958 they moved their family to North
Monroe, N.H. In 1982, Eva and Ernest moved to Titusville, Fla. Ernest
passed away on April 1, 1991, and Eva stayed in Florida until 1994 when
she moved to Fort Worth, Texas, with Michael. In August 2000, Eva moved
to Tandy Village, an assisted living center, staying there until June 2004
when she moved to Shady Grove Nursing Home. Eva was a member of
Celebration Worship Center in Arlington, Texas, and American Legion
Auxiliary Woodsville, N.H. Besides Ernest and her parents, Eva was
predeceased by her sister, Effie, in November 1922; brother, Frank; and
granddaughter, Angelique in October 1975. Survivors include her son,
Michael and wife Linda of 5269 Dillon Circle, Haltom City, TX 76137; son,
Mark; daughter, Vickie Ann; granddaughter, April; and great-grandson,
John Ernest, all of 138 Oak Leaf Drive, NRH, TX 76180; sister, Dorena
Ames of Galveston, Texas; sisters-in-law, Hazel Andrews of North
Woodstock, N.H., and Marilyn Gentile of Berkley, Calif.; brothers-in-law,
William Hederman of North Billerica, Mass., and Daniel Hutchinson of East
St. Johnsbury; nieces and nephews; and many longtime close friends. In
lieu of flowers, Eva requested donations be made in her memory to
Celebration Worship Center, P.O. Box 120189 Arlington, TX 76102-0189,
or the National Kidney Foundation, 5429 LBJ Freeway, Ste 650, Dallas TX
75240. Eva was cremated and is being brought home by her sons and her
Pastor Bill Hysell, to be buried next to Ernest on Saturday, Oct. 30, at 11
a.m. at the North Monroe, N.H., cemetery.
