Donald F. Beer of St. Johnsbury passed away at the St. Johnsbury Health
and Rehabilitation Center Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at the age of 84. He
was born in St. Johnsbury on June 28, 1922, the son of Owen F. and Alice
(Daniels) Beer. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Donald was a
longtime employee of the St. Johnsbury Trucking Company where he
worked in the truck repair parts department. He was a member of North
Congregational Church. He is survived by his wife, Wilhelmina (Hubbard)
Beer; his son, Dennis Beer and wife Brenda of Auburn, N.H.;
daughter-in-law Glory Beer of Chaplain, Conn.; three grandchildren, Paula,
Eric and Michael. He was predeceased by a son, William, in 2005.
Memorial services will be held at the Ladies Parlour at North
Congregational Church Saturday, June 16 at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions
