Diane Delores Heidger Bollinger , 79, of Bedford, Va., slipped quietly
away into an everlasting sleep Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, after a prolonged
illness. She was born on Thursday, March 28, 1929, a daughter of the late
John McClay Heidger and Nina Lumsden Heidger of Craftsbury, Vt. She
was also preceded in death by a brother, Terry Heidger. Diane retired as
night supervisor at South Roanoke Nursing Home in 1992. Surviving is her
husband of 58 years, Cecil, and two daughters, Sharon Anne Krosel of
Beltsville, Md., Zoe Ann Tiller of Adamstown, Md.; and a son, David Bruce
Bollinger of Conyers, Ga.; two grandchildren, Meagan Kimberly Miller and
Edward Peter Krosell III; as well as a brother, John Heidger of Ocala, Fla.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be
made to Bedford Hospice Care, P. O. Box 688, Bedford, VA 24523. A
private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
