Clarence G. Bundy Jr., 81, of St. Johnsbury and formerly of Concord, passed away at
St. Johnsbury Health & Rehab Center on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011.
He was born in St. Johnsbury on April 26, 1929, the son of Clarence and Doris (Rash)
Bundy Sr. His mother later married Merle Charles.
Clarence proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean
War. His discharge lists several credits,medals and awards: Good Conduct with three bronze loops,
Longevity Service with one bronze oak leaf cluster, National Defense Service,
Korean Service, Occupation of Japan, small-arms marksmanship,
United Nations Service, Republic of Korea War Service and a lapel
button for his honorable service to his country..
Clarence was a life member of the Ralph J. Mollica Post 793. He liked
the outdoors, shopping at Caplan's, keeping up with the latest news,
watching old movies and of course rooting for the Boston Red Sox.
He is survived by four children, Lawrence Bundy of Texas, Anthony
Bundy of Alabama, John Bundy of Connecticut and Brenda Bundy of
St. Johnsbury; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother,
Robert Bundy of Dallas, Texas; nieces and nephews.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at the Concord
Cemetery Thursday, May 19, at 1 p.m. Anyone wishing to attend is welcome.
