Charles E. Mosher of Gallup Mills, Vt., passed away Friday, June 3, 2005,
at the St. Johnsbury Health and Rehab Center at the age of 84. He was
born in Penobscott, Maine, on Oct. 30, 1920, the son of Charles C. and
Mildred (Firres) Mosher. He was an Army World War II veteran of the
European Theatre. He graduated from the Vocational School in St.
Johnsbury and worked around St. Johnsbury as an auto mechanic, retiring
from Quality Motors. Everybody knew him as "the auto mechanic." He is
survived by one son, Brian Mosher and his wife Fatima of Lyndonville (P.O.
Box 1404 05851); four grandchildren, Charles L. Mosher and his wife Jody
of West Burke, Brian Mosher Jr. and his wife Crystal of Newark, Jeff
Mosher of Sheffield, and Sanita Mosher of West Burke; two
great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Blay and his wife Dricilla of
Lyndonville, and Robert Blay and his wife Florence of Londonderry, N.H.;
and four nephews and one niece. Services will be held at the convenience
of the family. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Disabled
American Veterans Chapter of St. Johnsbury.
